                        I don’t think I was afraid of standing out, either. I was, after all, wearing my Dodgers hat in a sea of brown and orange. I looked, but I could not find a reason why I stood. So I told myself I wouldn’t anymore.

                        Arizona hands women’s basketball its first overtime loss

                        Friday night's contest proved difficult for Stanford women's basketball (24-5, 13-4 Pac-12). When the game was pushed into overtime, the extra minutes were no different. No. 13 Arizona (23-5, 12-5 Pac-12) went on a run. Stanford went on a momentary comeback and even took the lead, but the Wildcats had a little bit more in the tank. Arizona won 73-72 in overtime.

                        Ducks down women’s hoops at home

                        When No. 4 Stanford (24-4, 13-3 Pac-12) was not getting bullied inside the paint, turning the ball over or outrun, the game was close. The Cardinal even won the fourth quarter by 10 points and tied the second. The 74-66 loss to No. 3 Oregon (26-2, 15-1 Pac-12) came for other reasons.
